I am a Sophomore at The University of Arizona, where I am majoring in Computer Science, and also minoring in Mathematics and Nutritional Science. This is my first year of being at Arizona. I spent my time after graduating high school attending El Camino College and working as an Accountant with Hunt Enterprises and as a Manager with The Overstock Center. During these times, I was very fortunate to be able to meet many amazing people that have influenced my life and helped me become the person I am today. After completing all the preparations I needed, I was finally able to transfer to The University of Arizona and it has been such an enjoyable experience so far.
Most recently, I've been dedicating much of my time studying and learning about Android Development and Web Development. I have always wanted to be able to make apps and websites. Apart from the times that I hone my java fundamentals through the different computer science classes I am taking at The University of Arizona, I also spend my time outside of class practicing Android and Web Development by taking on various fun projects!
I was recently hired by tryRoll to be a Brand Ambassador. I answer student concerns while promoting our photo sharing app! I also recently started working as an Android Developer with AutoKept. I am currently in training with AutoKept and after I finish my training, I will be responsible for the Android Full Stack Development which is quite exciting!
In the midst of all this, I also manage to stay physically active. When I am not busy with school or work, you can find me in the Rec Center participating in intramurals, playing basketball or working out. I love the game of basketball and I also love fitness and nutrition in general. If I'm not in the gym, I'll most likely be attending workshops and presentations by different tech companies. I enjoy attending these events because it allows me to stay up to date with new technology while also gaining more knowledge about the field of Software Engineering.
